In these unprecedented times of so much
“halay-kasay”(division), we can come together again if we would only bring out the
patriotism and national pride in us for the benefit of ourselves and sweet Helen. A hopeless hope? Dont be so quick to judge!! WE CAN!
First and foremost, patriotism is a concept which
brings people together - a sense of solidarity and love for our country.
It is a sentiment which binds.
National pride and feeling patriotic are things which will make for a stronger nation. Not only will you be able to relate well to others in your shared love for St Lucia but the more individuals who express their patriotic feelings, the stronger our country will be as a whole.
