RAYNEAU SUPPORTS "BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE" PROJECT INITIATIVE

NewlyConstructed House
Rayneau Group of Companies (RGC) Ltd has as customarily done, extended its arms in times of need. Partnering with Invest St Lucia, RGC as well as few other companies  have provided a quantity of building materials for the construction of a 3-bedroom house in Soufriere for a single mother with two challenged sons.

Tyler Theophane
The whole project is an initiative of Tyler Theophane, St Lucia’s Contestant for Miss Universe 2021, towards her “Beauty with a Purpose” project. Tyler has been instrumental in seeking support from service providers, construction companies and hardware stores.

According to Tyler, “Jessica Gaga is a 42 years old mother with two sons who are challenged.. Both boys suffer from developmental delays. They are unable to function like other children within their age group. …….They both attend the Special Education program in Soufriere.  Like so many single women in St Lucia Jessica is currently unemployed. Being recently evicted from her previous dwelling, Jessica spent many nights seeking refuge with family and friends.”

It is reported that over $100,000.00 of building materials have been donated towards the construction of the house. The land to construct the house on was provided by The Government of St Lucia through Invest St Lucia.

The CEO of Rayneau Group of Companies Ltd, Mr Rayneau Gajadhar is pleased to be associated with such a humanitarian project. He is a man with a big heart who has continually demonstrated in many ways his philanthropic tendencies towards projects of merit when called upon to do so - The Bexon Primary School, The RedCross Headquarters at Vigie, The Reading Center for challenged students at the Roblot Combined school and a scholarship for a student who attended Sir Arthur LewisCommunity College are a few of the many examples of Mr Gajadhar’s generosity.

Labour for the construction of the house was done on self-help basis where members of the community and surroundings chipped in. Plans are also afoot for furnishing the home.

"The Rayneau Group of Companies is an entity that cares. We love working with the communities…..” Germaine Serieux, Marketing Manager at Raynesu Construction and Industrial Products (RCIP) Ltd says.
