RAYNEAU SALUTES ALL WOMEN ON THIS iNTERNATIONAL DAY OF WOMEN 2021!!!

A woman is a personification of love, resilience, strength and beauty. Although her existence should be celebrated everyday, but to mark her contributions we have International Women's Day dedicated to her.

Every year on March 8, we celebrate the achievements of women. However, do you know how the date was decided? The story is dated back to 1917 after women gained suffrage in Soviet Russia; March 8 became a national holiday. Since then, this day was predominantly celebrated by the communist countries and socialists movement until in 1967 it was adopted by the feminist movement. In 1977 United Nations recognized the day and started celebrating the day as International Women's Day.

Today is a celebration for ALL women employed at Rayneau Group of Companies Ltd., in St Lucia, and by extension all around the world.

You are ladies who dared to dream big, (ever since you were little girls), for the diversity and talent that lie within a feminize heart, as well as for the determination and courage that prevent you falling apart.

Ladies can raise families and build businesses, and be proud of all they have achieved, where once over, visions on that scale, could never have been believed.

Ladies, stand up and be counted, and smile at how far you’ve come; and cherish every single day as daughter, wife, significant-other or moms.

Don’t let anybody tell you that there are set paths to follow, since, as a little girl with a passion is an inspiring woman of tomorrow.

So celebrate all women, and acknowledge what they do; And tell a lady close to your heart how much she means to you.

                                             Happy International Women’s day!!!
