CONSTRUCTION OF NEW MARIGOT HOSPITAL PROGRESSING SMOOTHLY.

As the Government of Dominica continues its mandate to prioritize health care, Construction and Industrial Equipment Ltd (CIE) construction of the new hospital is well advanced and nearing completion to serve the entire North East of Dominica located in Marigot.

Upon completion, the 75-bed capacity hospital will provide complete medical facilities to the residents of that part of the island.

The new two floor hospital will be a total of 40,000 square feet, and will host seventy-five beds as well as a wide range of essential services and modern state-of-the-art facilities.

The new Marigot Hospital will provide various services upon its completion, including Ambulatory Services, Emergency Care, Intensive Care (ICU), Maternity and Pediatric Care, Laboratory and Radiology Services and Trauma Centre.

The Construction of the hospital, funded by the Citizen by Investment Programme, began in January of last year and is expected to be completed sometime this year.
