Mr Gajadhar's Construction and Industrial Equipment Ltd company (CIE Ltd) began work on the Piat road on June 15, 2020.
This project will see the rehabilitation of the Piat Development roads which consist of 848m of new concrete road pavement.

The works include:
- Demolition
of damaged road infrastructure
- Reconstruction
of drains,
- Construction
of Kerb walls
- Erecting
Retaining walls
- Installing
Culvert crossings
- Building
Cascading drains
According to management residents of the Piat community will form the majority of the work force. Presently 18 persons are employed but as the work progresses more persons will be employed says the company's engineer. The project is expect to be completed within 5 months.
