The cab is roomy and ergonomically designed with low noise level and good visibility. A full view front window and large rear and side windows provide excellent visibility in all directions.

The HX220S excavator has a gross power ratings up to 110 kW at 2 000rpm, an operating weight of 21 260 kg and a 1.2㎥ bucket capacity.

A state-of-the-art video camera system secures field of vision for operators in all directions, thereby preventing accidents onsite. An Intelligent Moving Object Detection (IMOD) system, with a recognition distance of 5 m, informs the operator when people or dangerous objects are detected within the range of operation.

A new system called EPFC (Electronic Positive Flow Control) allows you to adjust the machine’s speed and performance based on the type of work you do. It also saves fuel with improved electronic control of the pumps. This new system also contributes to fuel efficiency.  According to Hyundai Construction Equipment, excavators with EPFC have shown up to 15% fuel savings as compared to the previous model without EPFC.

A swing lock system improves operating speed and productivity and maintains stability when swing movement needs to be limited. A fine swing control option is also available when a fine swing is required.
