The Vieux Fort branch serves a double role in the South – a digital ready-mixed concrete plant which is complimented with a hardware department. The plant which has a capacity to produce ready-mixed concrete at 150 cu.m per hour is fully automated and can produce varying strengths of concrete from 3000 psi to 4000 psi. as per customers’ needs.
The hardware section offers customers the following
products:
- Sand,
- mixed aggregates of various sizes – ½”, ¼” and ¾”,
- raw and washed pumice,
- concrete blocks - 4, 6, 8 and 12”,
- steel,
- nails,
- wheelbarrows,
- plywood, and
- cement, which is the cheapest in the south at present.
The opening hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily and on Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00pm
