CIE on Track to Complete New Marigot Hospital by April 2021.

Without a doubt and as expected "...work is progressing at a quick pace and on schedule on the new Marigot Hospital in Dominica," says an official from the RG Group Of Companies.

Construction began on the New Marigot Hospital in January 2020 and is expected to be completed in April 2021.

The new Marigot Hospital which will occupy 55,800 square feet, and will be fully equipped with an operating theatre, ICU, in-patient wards, Accident and Emergency, lab  is being constructed by Construction and Industrial Equipment Ltd.(CIE)

Below is a timeline giving you an idea how works have been progressing on the new Marigot Hospital.  

April 2020:  Take a look at the #NewMarigotHospital as of April 23, 2020. Workers are going the extra mile to make the vision to reality! Installation of reinforcements on the suspended ground floor slab is ongoing.

July 2020: Workers take advantage of the good weather to pour concrete for the second-floor walls, beams and posts of the #NewMarigotHospital  

August 2020: Here's the site update for the New Marigot Hospital as of August 15, 2020. Workers now shift to complete the interior structural works of the #NewMarigotHospital. Swift progress indeed! 

September 2020: Here's the site update for the New Marigot Hospital as of September 11, 2020. Exterior plastering, block and fit-out works are being completed for the #NewMarigotHospital. So far so good! We are more than halfway through the construction process to complete this state-of-the-art health facility.  

With the completion of this hospital as well as other health facilities under construction island wide the Prime Minister of Dominica is confident that the island can become one of the leaders in health care services and delivery in the Caribbean. – one of the most significant outcomes of the changes and benefits that Dominicans will enjoy in health care.
