It’s hard to believe but September 16th marks 100 days until Christmas, or put another way 14 weekends. You can be certain that the next 100 days will disappear faster than ever and you’ll be sitting down to enjoy your Christmas dinner before you know it. September ushers the Christmas season and the hunt for holiday decorations. As usual, Navita Designs upstairs Rayneau in Vide Bouteille comes to fore for the BEST in Christmas décor. You can take that to the bank!!
Christmas
in September is happening for a few reasons, but one of them certainly is
demand. The long and short of it is that Christmastime and the holidays make
people happy. Singing joyful songs, spending time with families and decorating
your home with Santa Clauses, snowmen and reindeer is just fun. September is a good time to stock up on all those new stockings and tree
ornaments.
We
think our customers doing their Christmas shopping in September have the right
idea. If you buy early you will have more time to enjoy the festive season and
won’t be rushing about the shops in a panic on Christmas Eve. Also, you’ll have
paid for your gifts months before and won’t have to fork out as much money when
you need it for Christmas parties and extra food and drink (because we always
all go overboard at Christmas!).
Navita Designs' store manager Everly, pointed out, that although shoppers usually flock the store during October - just before Jounen Kweyol, there’s actually a really practical reason for their products to roll out in September. It’s about budgeting. She believes that before one kicks off about Navita Designs having Christmas decor on display early, bear in mind that for a lot of people - under pressure to provide - the shopping has to start now, getting a little bit each week or month as they get paid,
At
the end of the day, rolling out Christmas items in the middle of September
isn’t hurting anyone. Don’t like it? Walk away and don’t buy anything! For some
people, Christmas in September is fun and for others, it’s a necessary way to
make the holidays merry and bright. And if you’re like our staff and the idea of the
holidays in September excites you, well that’s a sign you may be in for a Merry Christmas 2021.
