Frederick To Hold Vigil For Victims of RG Quarry Ltd Incident!

It is with the greatest sense of personal and professional anguish that all of us at RG Group of Companies Ltd have been mourning the very tragic passing of Kim Khodra, Simon Straugn and Darren Gabriel.

A prayer vigil is scheduled Sunday night for the three victims, killed in a tragic accident on March 21,2017 at RG Quarry Ltd.

The prayer vigil, arranged by Mr Richard Frederick, will be held on Sunday March 26, 2017. Shattered by the loss of three young lives, grieving coworkers, relatives and friends will gather at  Serenity Park from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

Kim and Darren died at the scene.  Simon, the Quarry Operations  Manager, and brother to the company’s Team Leader, was hospitalized with critical injuries which he succumbed to later that night.

"It's tragic, so sad and even though...the other families aren't a part of us, now they are. We're all connected," cried  a relative of one of the victims.

Community and faith leaders, co workers, family and friends are expected to come out in hundreds at Serenity Park Sunday night for that vigil. “We ask that you all attend to support. Bring along your friends and family as we pray for the injured, affected families, our company and our nation” A communique from management to employees of the company stated.

We at RG Group of Companies Ltd also extend invitation to everyone island-wide, to join with us at the park to comfort each other and relieve the stress and pain of the relatives and friends of the victims and injured.

Let us all be reminded of the frailty of life and blessings of family and dear friends without which all we do is meaningless. If you have not done so today, give a great big hug to those you love. We never know when the hug we share with a loved one will be the last one.
