BUILDING THE CARIBBEAN ONE NATION AT A TIME - THE RAYNEAU WAY

Across the Eastern Caribbean, progress is pouring like concrete—strong, deliberate, and set to last. From the emerald hills of Montserrat to the busy corridors of Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia, and the rugged coastlines of Saint Vincent, Rayneau Group of Companies is proving yet again why it stands as a beacon of regional development and resilience.

Ongoing Works - Montserrat Hospital

Let’s start in Montserrat, where hope rises alongside steel beams and scaffolding. The new Montserrat Hospital has officially broken ground, and progress is steadily gaining momentum. It’s more than a structure—it’s a symbol of rebirth and regional care. With every brick laid, the people of Montserrat inch closer to a state-of-the-art facility that will serve generations. Rayneau is proud to play a role in this transformative national project, giving Montserratians a space that heals not just bodies, but the community spirit too.

La Resourse Works

Over in Saint Lucia, good things are happening—and fast! The final layer of asphalt is being placed on the La Resource Road in Vieux Fort, and what a fine stretch it is. This sleek new surface is set to become a vital artery for local traffic, trade, and daily life. And as we prepare to install speed bumps to ensure safety, we tip our hats to Jude and his team for keeping the momentum alive on the ground while other operations unfold regionally.

And now to Saint Vincent, where the heartbeat of our newest quarry is coming to life. Today marked the first trial run of the Primary section of the Rayneau Quarry at Richmond, and the results were nothing short of impressive. Crushing over 380 tons per hour with precision and power, this facility represents a new chapter in regional supply chain independence.

St Vincent Quarry at Work

Behind this success? One name echoes through the corridors of the Rayneau story—Mr. Rupdat Mohammed. The mastermind who transforms “crazy ideas” into concrete achievements (literally), Mr. Mohammed has long been the quiet giant behind the RG Group’s innovation and expansion. Every thriving company needs a “Mohammed”—a visionary who turns sketches into skylines.

To Mr. Rose, Long Man, Raj, and the entire team in Saint Vincent, your hard work is seen, felt, and deeply appreciated. You are proof that the true strength of Rayneau Group is not just in our machines or materials—it’s in our people.

From Montserrat to Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent, Rayneau Group of Companies is creating opportunities and building the future—one island, one project, one dream at a time.

PANTIME TRIUMPHS! RAYNEAU CELEBRATES NATIONAL PANORAMA VICTORY WITH STEEL ORCHESTRA

The sweet sound of victory rang loud across Saint Lucia Carnival 2025 — and leading the chorus was none other than Pantime Steel Orchestra, crowned national champions of the prestigious Republic Bank Panorama Competition. The Rayneau Group of Companies Ltd. is proud to stand behind this extraordinary musical achievement as both sponsor and staunch supporter.

From humble beginnings in 2000, Pantime has grown into a powerhouse of Caribbean pan, and this year’s performance was a resounding reminder of their unmatched talent, unity, and patriotic flair. On a rain-slicked evening, as umbrellas danced above the heads of loyal patrons, Pantime lit up the stage — their steelpans gleaming under the lights, rain droplets shimmering like jewels, and their spirit as bright as ever.

Their vibrant racks adorned with balloons in blue, yellow, black, and white — Saint Lucia’s proud national colors — and their crisp white uniforms set the tone for what was to be a musical war won with grace. With the beloved Cecile “Tortee” Philgence in the engine room and the charismatic Sly stepping on stage to perform his own “Damn Proud Lucian,” the magic was undeniable.

The band’s dynamic presentation — a medley of Start D Party and Queen Of The Jungle (Bounce) — warmed the crowd and got hearts pounding in sync with the rhythm. But it was their spirited execution of “Damn Proud Lucian,” arranged by the outstanding Terrance “BJ” Marcelle, that sealed their place at the top. Fresh off his first large band win in Trinidad and with five New York Panorama championships under his belt, BJ’s return to Pantime brought with it the golden touch.

This victory marks a sweet return to the throne, unseating last year’s champions Babonneau Steel Orchestra and walking away with the championship trophy and a $60,000 EC prize. More than that, Pantime walked away with the admiration of thousands.

For the Rayneau Group of Companies, this win is personal. We were proud to offer financial backing and logistical support — including the transport of instruments and personnel — to ensure Pantime had everything they needed to shine. The management and staff extend our heartfelt congratulations to the entire Pantime family for their hard work, passion, and undeniable brilliance.
From the very first note to the final thunderous applause, Pantime reminded us what it means to be "Damn Proud Lucian." And at Rayneau, we are damn proud to have played a part in your journey to victory.

Congratulations, Pantime Steel Orchestra — the 2025 Panorama Champions!

HEAVY RAIN AHEAD : PROTECT YOUR FOUNDATION & DRAINS

Hurricane Preparedness Series | RCIP

When hurricane season unleashes its heavy rains, your foundation and drainage system face their biggest test of the year. At Rayneau Construction and Industrial Products Ltd. (RCIP), we’re committed to helping you safeguard your home and business against water damage — not just with sound advice, but with the right materials to match.

Why Your Foundation and Drains Deserve Attention

Flooded yards, cracked foundations, and soaked interiors are often the result of overlooked maintenance. If rainwater can’t drain efficiently or starts pooling around your structure, expect erosion, costly repairs, and even long-term structural damage.

What to Do Before the Storm Hits

Clear Your Gutters and Drains

Leaves, silt, and storm debris can clog up drainage pathways fast. At RCIP, we supply durable gutter guards, grates, and pipe fittings to make your drainage system storm-ready.

Redirect Water Flow

Ensure your downspouts push water well away from the foundation. RCIP stocks downspout extensions, drainage channels, and other essential fittings to improve ground flow and reduce pooling.

Improve Yard Grading

Water should naturally flow away from your home, not toward it. Our landscaping supplies, compacting tools, and fill materials can help reshape trouble spots and prevent water buildup.

Seal Foundation Gaps

Small cracks become entryways for major problems during storms. Visit any RCIP branch for waterproofing sealants, concrete repair compounds, and crack filler systems designed for Caribbean weather.

Install Ground Drains or French Drains

Looking for a more permanent solution? We carry the PVC piping, filter fabric, and gravel products needed to create French drains or direct excess water away from your property.

RCIP: Building Materials That Protect What Matters Most

Don’t wait for the rain to fall. Protecting your property starts with the right products and planning — and RCIP is here to help. Our expert team can guide you through what’s needed based on your location, soil type, and building style.

Whether you're in the early stages of home construction or upgrading for storm season, RCIP has everything from foundation blocks and waterproofing membranes to drainage solutions and roofing materials.

Be Proactive, Not Reactive

Heavy rain during hurricane season is inevitable — but disaster isn’t. Take action this week and equip your home with the strength to withstand what’s ahead.

MR GAJADHAR'S CARNIVAL : BEHIND THE SCENES AT RAYNEAU’S RICHMOND QUARRY

Yesterday, while thousands are waving flags and wining through the streets this Carnival season, Mr Rayneau Gajadhar had a different kind of “fête”—one that involved crushers, conveyors, and the raw pulse of progress at Rayneau’s Quarry in Richmond, St. Vincent.

This wasn’t his average day on the job. It was more like a dance of heavy-duty precision, fine-tuning the heart of a quarry that’s gearing up to be a true regional game-changer. Our team was on-site, doing the final adjustments to bring the first and second sections of our state-of-the-art aggregate plant online.

Let’s break it down.

Crushing It—Literally

The primary section of the plant is a beast. Picture two powerful Jaw Crushers, each paired with a vibrating Grizzly feeder, set side by side. Together, they boast a combined crushing capacity of 760 tons per hour (TPH)—a force to be reckoned with. All that crushed rock gets funneled into a tunnel stockpile with an impressive 18,000-ton capacity. It’s not just a pile of rocks; it’s the foundation for every road, building, and structure St. Vincent will see in the near future.

Next up is the secondary section, which runs like a well-choreographed masquerade band. This section features two 5 ½ ft Cone Crushers, fitted with medium and fine liners respectively. Together, they handle up to 680 TPH. Once crushed, the material gets screened through three massive 6x20 triple-deck screens, ensuring a clean and consistent product. The minimum size output here? A neat 1½ inches—perfect for a wide variety of construction needs.

All in all, this first phase alone clocks in at an average capacity of 500 TPH. That’s industrial harmony at its best.

What’s Next?

But according to Mr Gajadhar, "We’re not stopping here. The third and fourth sections of the plant are on the horizon. Once fully operational, this quarry won’t just be another crushing site—it’ll be an icon of innovation and industrial power in the region."

So yes, while some celebrate Carnival with music and dancing, Mr Gajadhar celebrated his today with engines roaring, steel grinding, and a clear vision for the future. Because at Rayneau, our rhythm is progress, and we’re proud to be building the backbone of the Eastern Caribbean—one crushed stone at a time.

Stay tuned, because when this plant is complete, the entire region will feel the tremors of excellence.

PROTECT YOR ROOF: FASTENERS, SEALANTS & PRODUCTS THAT MATTER

When a hurricane hits, your roof becomes the first line of defense—and the first point of failure if it's not secured. High winds, driving rain, and flying debris can rip off sheets, loosen fasteners, and expose your home to costly damage.

That’s why roof preparation is one of the most critical steps in your storm-readiness plan. And at RCIP, we offer the tools, sealants, and fasteners that help hold the line when the winds rise.

Must-Have Roofing Products to Hurricane-Proof Your Home

✅ 1. Hurricane Straps & Ties

These metal connectors anchor your roof structure to the walls, significantly increasing wind resistance.

✅ 2. Galvanized Roofing Screws

Don’t trust nails alone. Use corrosion-resistant, deep-threaded screws with neoprene washers to lock down your roofing sheets.

✅ 3. Roofing Sealants & Adhesives

Seal potential leak points—especially around vents

✅ 4. Silicone & Polyurethane Caulking

Great for sealing cracks and joints to prevent water seepage during torrential downpours.

✅ 5. Bitumen Roof Tape

An excellent quick fix for sealing metal roofing seams and small holes.

Quick Roof-Check Tips Before a Storm

  • Inspect for loose nails or rusted screws
  • Tighten or replace worn fasteners
  • Look for cracked caulking or dried-out sealants
  • Secure satellite dishes, antennas, or solar panels
  • Clean out gutters and downspouts to avoid overflow

If you're unable to climb safely—don't risk it. Rayneau partners with contractors and professionals ready to assist.

Rayneau Has What You Need

From the smallest roofing screw to full bundles of metal sheets and fasteners, Rayneau is fully stocked to help you storm-proof your roof before peak hurricane activity hits.

BRAZILIAN 100% TROPICAL HARDWOOD MARINE PLYWOOD : BUILT FOR THE ELEMENTS, TRUSTED BY PROS

When it comes to building for strength, durability, and water resistance, not all plywood is created equal. That’s why Rayneau Construction and Industrial Products (RCIP) proudly offers Marine Plywood—a premium-grade material engineered to withstand the toughest environments while maintaining its shape, integrity, and beauty.

What Exactly is Marine Plywood?

Marine plywood is a high-performance, moisture-resistant plywood designed for use in wet and humid environments. Unlike regular plywood, marine plywood is made from high-quality hardwood veneers, layered with waterproof adhesives and treated to resist rot, fungal attacks, and pests. Whether you're building a boat deck, a dock, or a stylish outdoor kitchen, this is the material you can count on.

Why Choose Marine Plywood from RCIP?

Here’s why it’s the top choice for builders, carpenters, and homeowners across the island:

1. Unmatched Water Resistance

Built to beat the elements, marine plywood can handle prolonged exposure to water without swelling, delaminating, or breaking down. It’s perfect for our Caribbean climate—think beachfront structures, boat repairs, and bathroom cabinets.

2. Strength That Lasts

Its multiple layers of premium hardwood and top-grade adhesives make marine plywood incredibly tough. It resists warping, cracking, and splitting even under pressure—ideal for projects like decks, fences, or outdoor furniture.

3. Dimensional Stability

Humidity and temperature swings are no match for this material. Marine plywood retains its shape better than most woods, ensuring smooth finishes and lasting builds.

4. Resistant to Rot, Mould & Termites

Thanks to specialized treatments, marine plywood resists decay from moisture and insects—especially useful in tropical regions like Saint Lucia.

5. Versatile and Easy to Work With

Cut it, shape it, paint it—marine plywood is incredibly versatile. Use it in bathrooms, signage, fences, patios, garden features, or wherever moisture is a concern.

6. Long-Term Value

Though slightly more expensive than regular plywood, marine plywood pays off with fewer repairs and longer lifespan—saving you time and money in the long run.

Common Uses of Marine Plywood in Saint Lucia:

  • Boatbuilding and repairs
  • Outdoor kitchens and patios
  • Docks and piers
  • Gazebos and decks
  • Bathroom and kitchen cabinetry
  • Signboards exposed to the elements
  • Garden benches and fencing

Also Ask About Our Brazilian Hardwood

Pair your marine plywood with Brazilian hardwood—a dense, exotic timber known for its strength, elegance, and resistance to the elements. Perfect for luxurious decking, furniture, and high-end finishing work.

BREAKING GROUND FOR THE FUTURE: SOD TURNING CEREMONY FOR THE ST DAVID'S CATHOLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL

A new chapter in Grenada’s educational journey officially began today with the sod turning ceremony for the highly anticipated EC$40.6 million St. David’s Catholic Secondary School. Held at the school’s future site in Marlmount, St. David, the event brought together government officials, education stakeholders, community leaders, and proud representatives of the Rayneau Group of Companies, including the selected contractor, Construction and Industrial Equipment (CIE) Ltd.

With the contract signed just days earlier on July 3, the ceremonial groundbreaking marks the official start of construction for what promises to be one of the most modern and climate-resilient schools in the region.

A Milestone Moment for Education in Grenada

This landmark project is part of the Grenada Education Enhancement Project (GEEP)—a powerful initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Ministry of Infrastructure. It is jointly funded by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and the Government of Grenada, underscoring the nation’s commitment to transforming the learning environment for its youth.

The school, long overdue due to structural challenges at its former location, will rise anew in Marlmount with three modern, multi-storey buildings designed with the future in mind. From its foundation to its roof, the institution will feature advanced climate-proofing, ensuring safety, comfort, and sustainability for generations to come.

CIE Ltd. at the Helm

Construction and Industrial Equipment Ltd., a proud subsidiary of the Rayneau Group of Companies, has been entrusted with this prestigious contract. Project Manager and Civil Engineer Pawan Joshi spoke with passion about the scale and significance of the school:

“This is one of the biggest school construction projects not only in Grenada, but in the entire region. The consultants have produced an excellent design—fully climate-resilient, modern, and inclusive of every necessary feature to support 21st-century learning.”

CIE Ltd. has pledged to prioritize local employment throughout the 18-month construction period, offering work to 100 to 200 individuals, both skilled and unskilled, from the surrounding area. This approach ensures that the economic benefits of the project ripple throughout the community.

This project is yet another shining example of what happens when government leadership, international support, and regional construction excellence unite. And for the Rayneau Group of Companies and CIE Ltd., it’s another testament to their mission—Creating Opportunities, Building the Future.

📍 Stay tuned for construction updates, community engagements, and the journey toward completion.
